Brians Birthday and Bday BBQ

It is Brian's first birthday as a daddy!! For his actual birthday I made shrimp enchiladas and a BIG Reese's cupcake, homemade frosting and all :) Gavin and I actually had a really cool gift for daddy!

The weekend after his birthday we had a big BBQ! It was a great week! Enjoy the pics!

The ZOO for the first time!!

I am not the biggest fan of the going to the zoo because I truly feel that it is not fair to the animals... I know, I know, what can I say? It makes me sad to see all of the those animals behind cages! Do I want to be "that mom" that doesn't let her child go to the zoo? No! But I will be the mom that talks to my son about how I feel about it later on... So now that I got that off my chest, let's get to some pics of Monkey Moo at the Zoo. He def. seemed to enjoy the scenery.  I am not sure how much he could actually see, but he did see a few animals and seemed very interested! We went with our neighbors/friends, Spike and Laura. It was a nice day, especially because daddy was able to come along!!
